Subject to Change

In the Spring of 2018, under the guidance of Dr. Kurtis Adams in jazz arranging lessons, I began writing two different pieces for smaller jazz ensembles. This piece - Subject to Change - is a 12-bar blues in F Major that (originally by accident) modulates to Db Major and then back to F with an exciting, swinging finish. The ensemble that premiered this in the Composition Recital on April 16, 2018 is as follows:
